The Jacuzzi Tub

Our Jacuzzi! Layton loves it and so does Tana! I accidentally washed his hair before the jacuzzi was turned on...Won't be doing that again! Tana fell because of the slippery soap..she didn't hurt herself..mostly her pride! Layton was having a hay day with it though! who know maybe we will do it again....accidentally of course!

Sleep deprivation

The Wikipedia definition is
Sleep Deprivation-is a general lack of the necessary amount of sleep. This may occur as a result of sleep disorders, active choice or deliberate inducement such as in interrigation or for torture. Also causes Achy muscles, blurred vision, colour blindness, dizziness, dark circles..ect

My definition is 2 Very Clingy children named Layton and Tana.....ug. The last two weeks have tried my patience on so many levels..... But last night I couldn't have been mad or angry when I seen the two of them in my bed......hugging each other as they slept! I just wish I was awake enough to get out of my bed and take a pic....but that picture will be forever burned into my memory that I will cherish for this and the next lifetime to come....so cute.

The Buzz

We have been home from holiday's for about 2 or more weeks now! The house has been buzzing with excitement! The day we got home The Colley family stayed with us for 3 days and then My brother Jared and Simon stayed with us for 1 week, Jared is still here in wetaskiwin he is just at Kate's house! Simon went home. Lindsay's parents stayed with us for almost a week. We got a lot done! Mostly yard work but lots done indeed!

Ripped down the deck,

Tore down the Carrigana's and put in a fence. well the first half of the fence!

Not to mention Warren trimmed trees edged our lawn and single handily chopped down all the carrigana's and monitored the bobcat guy dig the holes! Oh what would we do with out you! Love all the help that Marette gave us in the house taking care of the kids and Lindsay all while they were sick, making scrumptious rhubarb rolls and stewed rhubarb and home made noodle soup...we were truly spoiled! Can't wait until they come back for their next visit! So we can actually visit! Ha ha!

Jimmey Eat World

Lindsay and I went to a concert last night and it was AWESOME..... actually It was both Lindsay's and mine first time going to an actually concert!(It was in the Edmonton event center in west ed mall) We snuck a camera in, well actually I think there were allowed, but we snuck it in anyway for thrills! ha ha. We got to the mall and it was nice out doors were supposed to open at 8....well it didn't and the rain came and oh did it come...people were screaming and at 8:15 we got in......

Luckily there weren't any mirrors around so I couldn't be horrified....except for the pic we took.

Anyway Back to the concert.... When the first band was setting up I seen this old farmer walking around....I laughed...It was really funny.....until he walked up on stage and started singing...then I busted a gut......and so I bring you Attack in Black!

Then there was jimmy eat world...the banner came down and the crown when crazy! Just about every song was sung along by the crowd. It was awesome. I can only imagine what there big shows are really like. They are great performers right to the end. They played flawlessly. I am so glad we went. Well worth the money (I'd think I'd even pay more to see them). We had a blast. They also came back and played an encore of like 4 songs. People were screaming for it and they started the slow clap..(you know the one that starts slow and then creeps up to an all out clapping sensation) The Bass player came out and was so humble about the cheer for and encore, a kind of wave to the audience, like stop...you shouldn't have...we liked it!

Holiday's! part 1

We had holidays the last two weeks! It was sooooo great. We needed them after the move and just to be away for sometime as a family was great!

We went to Cold Lake (4 hrs) stayed at the Hamilton house B&B. Love, love, love, it there! would have gotten pictures but we were pretty busy visiting and trying to stop Layton from jumping in the stocked fish pond!

After many attempts this is what we ended up with...not too bad considering the photographer was in the picture and I didn't even realize the big gap.....lol...still learning about being a photographer in the photo.....he heWe had a great time at the party the cake was amazingly beautiful and so deserving of the couple.

The Party decorations, Heather made the glass bowl I made the pictures in it, Kelsey made the Sparkly juice labels, Aunt Connie made the Basket behind it! Great job on everything! Looked amazing.

The Kids were SO good too! So glad we got to visit them! Had a truly great time.
