The Addict

My son the addict......I hope that this isn't the start of something horribly uncontrollable! I suppose it is my fault for leaving it on once and a while! He absolutely loves it, in fact that day, I told him to hit the button and he got up from his sleep to do it!! That's how I knew we had a problem. I am wondering if there is some sort of Nintendo detox program! I know eventually he will get over it...well at least I hope...I want it back!

The Big Hunt

Picture It...small town in the Yukon, a young family wakes up to find out someone has broken into their home. They're privacy violated, there sanity provoked. So as they venture out of they're once safe rooms THEY DISCOVER........ a basket, and some foiled covered chocolates..........oh and some new toy cars....that sneaky bunny has done it again!

Homeless!

The house hasn`t completely sold yet....... but only after 2 days on the market we sold for more than our asking price! Thanks for all the prayers!! We also have had to leave our house so often, I feel like I am living in someone elses house. Persistantly, that person is expecting us to leave when ever they feels it necessary. Although the kids love the sled, so we hop in it and go for a ride and luckily the weather has been so co-operative! I am excited to have all of it go through tomorrow and that we are able to go buy a new one! Mainly I am excited to go to Edmonton and visit my only niece that I havn`t had a chance to meet yet! Soon she shall be spoiled with all the affection I can muster up!! Get ready for the squeezfest of a life time Aidan!! Only 12 more days!

Save the Hair campaign!

Well as you all know we listed our house (MLS.CA 5033) and today was the realtor open house and we have had 2 showings last night and 15 Realtors today and a showing an hour ago and 2 tonight and one tomorrow...so that's great right?!!? Wrong!! well sort of... I am happy to have so many people come and see it, but so much pressure built up with every showing...are they going to like it? does it smell good, but not too good, Is it clean enough?, did I forget to turn up the heat? with every question and every thought..out comes more of my hair, not to mention that the kids need naps and baths and so all of that goes on hold! aaaaaaah! So with a little prayer in my heart I try not to think about it. Key word...TRY! But like a good first date...you can't help it! So please say a prayer for us...and my hair!

Listed

We officially listed our house! Craziness!! We have had people phone our realestate agent already after 24 hours!! We are praying for muliple offers and now just waiting! This is probably the most exciting and stressful time in our lives next to having the children! I will be sad to see this house go as it is quite beautiful inside! I'll post the MLS listing when we get it, so you can see all of it! aaaaaaaah! wish us luck!

Turtled (Turt-l-d)

One being stuck on there back...with no way of mobility! That was Tana until Today! Tana can officially roll over...I think! I found her sitting up in her crib today to my surprise! She is usually stuck on her back as she can crawl and climb furniture but couldn't roll over! This usually entices Layton to attack his sister with lots of tickles! I haven't actually seen her roll over yet but I am pretty sure she has a couple of times today!! Hooray Tana!

DIY

Finally had the opportunity to recover my dinning chairs! I have had the fabric for ummm.... well too long.

This morning I decided that I would make the effort and go for it! I really really like it!

I am excited to be done all the reno's this week and the house will look great.... too bad we have to move now!!

Shake it!

On Saturday night we went to a Church dance! Layton loves to dance...but cursed with no Rhythm he tends to just shake his bottom at everyone! Pretty funny until he decided to dance in the middle of us doing the bird dance, Now it was hilarious! I can only imagine what his sister is going to be like?!!?! I am scared!!
